The fourth Hyndland Residents' Association Hogmanay Ceilidh was held in the Community Halls in Novar Drive on 31 December 2008. This event carried on the tradition of the 2005, 2006 and 2007 events with again nearly 200 people from 3 to 83 attending. It has already become a Hyndland institution, being a worthy successor to the 3 previous events and maybe, by all comments, the best yet. The band, Crowded Croft, were on great form and have again been pencilled in for next year's event. Thanks to all whose hard work made the event such a success.
