The first Hyndland Residents' Association Hogmanay Ceilidh was held in the Community Halls in Novar Drive on 31 December 2005. The event was a resounding success with nearly 200 people attending. It is hoped that this will be the first of what will become a Hyndland institution. The band, Crowded Croft, have already been pencilled in for next year's event. Thanks to all who made the event such a success.
